School Ethos

Recognising its historic foundation, the school will preserve and develop its religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England and in partnership with the Church at parish and diocesan level. The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers to all its pupils.

The school aims to:

- Educate pupils intellectually, socially, morally, physically and spiritually within a school based on Christian principles.

- Encourage pupils to discover and develop their talents by putting before them positive and realistic goals and to stimulate in them a sense of curiosity and excitement about the world.

- Prepare pupils to make a positive contribute to their community and the environment in which they live.

- Show Christian concern for all teaching and non-teaching staff, parents and children.

  •  We as a staff give reassurance to our children that we are there for them as Jesus was for his flock. We will care and look after them, we will teach them and do not leave anyone behind.
